Grand Canyon

Probably nothing more impressive than western canyons. Three of my thoughts are that she takes her breath in Bryce, and in Sion Utah, and the Grand Canyon of Arizona. Let's start with Bryce. Bryce is a very unique place on earth. As you drive along the canyon and stop by the many sights, you find a place where the earth looks like a hedgehog. The rocks, like the canyon floor, point to the sun.

The very red rocks look as if they were leaving and ready to go to space. Not many miles to Zion National Park. Unlike the lance, like Bryce's cliff, Zion's huge white rock area. These huge white stone hills are great for climbing and taking pictures. I think what's so interesting is the conflict between the two. Bryce with his tall thin red rock and Zion with a huge round, white rock. And yet they are very close to each other geographically.

I've been to Grand Canyon several times. Twice on the southern rim and once on the northern edge. My personal favorites are the northern rim. Driving to the northern rim, which is a higher altitude, is much more interesting. It passes through an area that covers wood and wood. During the driving we saw many deer and other wildlife. Driving to the southern edge is more bare and barren. The southern rim view allows you to look at the left and right canyons.

The northern rim view allows you to see the beginning of the canyon and watch the canyon. I felt that the viewing area made you feel a bit more intense in the experience. Since the northern rim is much harder to come, it is much less crowded. All this provides a better experience. Keep in mind that since you are in the area, visit the Hoover Creek and Meade to visit your neighborhood.
