Why should I go to Africa for the next beach break?

Africa is probably not the first destination to choose for a beach holiday planning, but there are many reasons to try. Cape Town in South Africa until recently has always been the "a" destination if you want to go to Africa and enjoy the beach as well as all the other great things that this great continent offers. Now there are new children in the block and places like Tanzanian Zanzibar, Kenya, Mombasa and Gambia have actually come in their own, each offering unique African sales points and flavors, but all the great beach holiday destinations.

One of the most likely reasons to take someone somewhere in the African continent is to enjoy the beach in Europe, break winter and leave the summer break. How often have we heard of strikes at airports during the summer peaks, with the delay of millions of tourists and the destruction of the couple of weeks? Escape the rush and travel out of the peak season. Cape Town South Africa is still the most sophisticated seaside resort in Africa, the unbelievable backdrop of Table Mountain, with excellent accommodation and one of the best restaurants in the world, is a great place to stay in South Africa.

without the beach. In addition, you can enjoy South Africa's best wines and landscapes on the Garden Route, which stretches from the Mossel Bay to the Western Cape Storms River. There are ten conservation areas in the area as well as unique marine reserves that are home to soft coral reefs, dolphins, seals and many other marine life. Golfing on the beach has always been popular in places such as Spain and Portugal, South Africa and the Cape region, some of the courses in the world, now you can combine a beach, golf and safari holidays, nobody in Europe can boast!

What about the beaches? In Cape Town, there are excellent beaches, False Bay, with a long sandy beach that stretches from Gordon Bay to Muizenberg, and includes Boulders Beach and Simon City. The Atlantic coastline on the Western (Atlantic) side of the Cape Peninsula with well-known beaches, including the Sandy Gulf, Clifton Camps Bay, Scarborough and Kommetjie. Due to the west coasts on the west coast, north of Cape Town, these beaches like windsurfing and kite surfing. It is important to note that the Bay of the False Bay is about 6 degrees warmer than the Atlantic Ocean and the West Coast.

On the down side, Cape Town is the farthest point in Africa where you can travel from Europe so the long-aforementioned flight can be expected, the water being a little cool and probably one of the most expensive destinations in Africa.

Coastal Vacation in Mombasa, Kenya

Kenya, probably the most well-known wild safari in Masai Mara, but offers plenty of beachfront vacations near Mombasa. The city of Mombasa is a "real" bustling African town and is in sharp contrast to Cape Town's sophistication. However, there are many delicious dining places to taste some of the traditional African dishes as well as the western palates. It is worth to visit the Old Town and Fort Jesus, a Portuguese fortress which was assigned in 1593 to II. Philippine II. Its Royal Command was built to protect the old port of Mombasa in Kenya. It was built in the form of a man and received the name of Jesus as a religious reference.

There is plenty of room on the beach in one of the most elegant hotels you can find anywhere in Africa, some great beachfront homes and basic beachfront campsites for everyone.

Snorkeling and scuba diving in Mombasa and surrounding areas are excellent and this is a great place, , like many other well-known diving sites. The Bamburi beach is an excellent starting point for a beach holiday in Kenya, approx. Half an hour from Nairobi, some great hotels and beachfront homes, and an excellent PADI diving center located in the well-known Travelers Beach Hotel. Of course, no Kenyan trip would be complete, without any Safari, and from Mombasa could be a popular destination for Tsavo National Park, which is less known than Masai Mara, but about 21,000 square kilometers, Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world, a large stock of Elephant and lots of lions, it is worth considering if you want a break at the beach!

With these two very different African beach holiday I hope that I have given you a simple taste that you can enjoy in Africa during your next beach holiday.
