What makes Risoul an ideal holiday resort in France for family skiing?

When planning cross country skiing, you need to look at all the options – Ask yourself which county? Which area? Which ski resort? France is one of the most sought-after destinations in skiing; a ski resort that you should visit Risoul. It is not as well known as other French ski resorts in Tignes or Val d 'Isere. Nevertheless, it is so appealing.

Risoul is a ski resort in the southern French Alps, which opened in 1977 and is connected to the neighboring Vars ski resort, which gives a total of 174 km of whistles. The ski area is called "Domaine de la Foret Blanche". Risoul is renowned for its reputation and great skiing experience until April.

Skiing in Risoul is best suited for beginners and intermediaries. The resort is ideal for first skiers, wide day nursery slopes and tree-lined runners. There is also a cross-country skiing area for children, and in Varsa there is a "magic carpet" lift and a sloping slope for adults. Medium-level skiers can enjoy a multitude of slopes on beautiful and quiet tracks and be challenging. There are many black runs for more advanced skiers, and the best black runs are in Warsaw. The Risoul slopes are not crowded, so you can try a great deal of space for skiing, jumping and hiking. The busy capital offers a wide range of low-priced ski resorts, gift shops, bars and restaurants. This resort is ideal for family skiing as there are many ski schools and most ski schools. Children under the age of 5 can also receive a free ski pass. The resort offers a wide range of non-skiing options, such as an outdoor ice rink, 35 km snowshoe and walkways, Skidoo tours, cinema, Snowboard Park and many more.

Risoul is available from Turin in Italy with a 1 hour and 15-minute transfer time, but it is also possible to transfer from Grenoble, Chambery or Marseille. Each airport is approximately 2.5 hours from the resort. Risoul is a well-built ski resort offering 2, 3 and 4 star apartments and chalets; there is still a handful of wooden chalets to make a traditional mood. If you are a beginner, individual and group lessons are available for instructors and lessons, so the whole family can attend or have private lessons while the kids go to the ski school where there are 60 children at the same time. The ski slopes in Risoul offer an alternative to overpriced ski resorts in France and are ideal for families, couples and groups.
